Join a diverse and collaborative team of investment management lawyers in supporting our clients’ global investment management businesses through an outsourced “in‑house” model. ROLE
We are looking for an ambitious lawyer qualified in the UK who is seeking a varied role offering broad experience with firms across the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ post‑qualification experience and a deep working knowledge of the vertical specialisms across investment management, including:
Public Markets
- Alternative funds
- Institutional mandates
- Distribution
- Regulation
- Trading, execution, and clearing
- Derivatives, repos, and securities lending
Private Markets
- Private Equity Funds
- Venture Capital Funds
- Hedge Funds
- Infrastructure Funds
- Private Credit Funds

RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the team to undertake varied legal work (e.g. contracts, advice, policies, etc.) across each specialism of investment management.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Undergraduate degree (2:1 or higher)
- PGDL and SQE (if the undergraduate degree was not in law)
- Current SRA practising certificate
- At least 8 years’ post‑qualification legal experience
- Independent, resourceful, and confident with strong problem‑solving skills
- Skilled at building relationships internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and professionalism to engage with stakeholders at all levels and across jurisdictions
- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and anticipate both firm and client needs
- Comfortable working with a range of personality types and seniority levels
- Highly motivated self‑starter with a proven track record of delivering results under pressure
- Willingness to step in and support the team as needed
- Ability to lead and stay one step ahead, constantly thinking about ways to improve efficiency for both the team and our clients
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast‑paced environment, where delivering within a 48‑hour timeframe is standard
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and respond effectively to queries from both internal and external stakeholders
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Full‑time role with core office hours of 08:30–18:30
- Willingness to commute to our London office, as this is an in‑office role (with a flexible working policy)
- Access to a Mac laptop (we operate a BYO Apple device policy to support maximum agility)
