Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Rehabilitation team with a competitive salary range on offer, up to £33,651.45 depending upon experience. This is a full time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week. This is a Monday-Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns:
- Monday to Sunday Long Days– 0730-2000
- Monday to Sunday Nights – 1930-0800
- Bank Holidays – 0730-2000 & 1930-0800

Within the floor our specialists deliver neurological and limb rehabilitation with advanced robotic devices that look at gross movement and fine dexterity movement. We can offer a higher intensity of therapy to work towards improved outcomes for patients. There is also a Bariatric Bed Room and an Isolation Bed Room to offer specialist facilities to enhance comfort and clinical care, and controlled air flow respectively.
What will your duties include?
- Responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the directions and supervision of trained nursing caregiver
- Developing competence in carrying out basic observations and recording results
- Be aware of Universal Precautions, basic Infection Control Procedures and Sharps Safety Procedures.
- Participating effectively at the Quality improvements initiatives for the ward ensures that the Ward KPI’s are achieved and are aligned with CCL quality standard
- Ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors following the guidelines of risk management. Proactively reporting incidents, risks and/or failings taking responsibility to minimise these
What we need from you?
- Experience working in a spinal rehabilitation setting
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate
- Demonstrable clinical experience in or similar setting
- Track record of achievement of objectives in present and past jobs in the clinical field.
- Good communication and organisational skills
