Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients team at 24 Portland Place, with a highly competitive salary range up to £32,960 depending upon experience. While the role is predominately based in 24 Portland Place, there will be times where you’re required to work across our other Outpatient sites. This is a full time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week. The shift patterns are as follows: Monday to Friday, Saturday – No Sundays, No Bank Holidays.

What will your duties include:

  • To ensure consulting and treatment rooms are prepared ahead of each clinic and between patients.
  • Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nursing caregivers.
  • Ensure the correct disposal of confidential waste in order that the security of material of a sensitive nature is not compromised in any way.
  • To be aware of Universal Precautions, basic Infection Control Procedures and Sharps Safety Procedures.
  • Support caregivers to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors following the guidelines of risk management.

What we need from you:

  • Experience working in an Outpatients setting.
  • Care Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Care & Social Care.
  • BLS provider course completed and qualification in required upon hire, or within 3 months of hire.
  • Track record of achievement of objectives in present and past jobs in the clinical field.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
