Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Digital Health Team Lead to join our Information Technology Team. The Team Lead (TL) functions as the primary expert for the applications assigned as their area of responsibility. You will report to the Digital Manager for Cleveland Clinic London and will be responsible for the maintenance, production break/fix, change request, project work, testing and change control procedure activities impacting their applications. You will take direction from, and collaborate with, the Digital Manager and Deputy Managers to work on priorities and manage the resolution of escalated issues.

You will serve as the primary support contact for your respective applications as well as serve as a point of contact for various other applications within your assigned team. You will serve as a leader with overall responsibility for software analysis and design, application and system installation and implementation for any new services, modules and optimisation work. Provides best solutions to identified needs, meeting operational and business objectives, technology capabilities, and human resource requirements. Maintains the ongoing service relationships between the IT department and its direct application customers, and is a liaison to other departments and entities. You will work with the Digital Deputy Manager to coordinate all issues that arise for your respective applications and must be very knowledgeable of the organisation's policies, procedures, and business operations. Provides after-hours support in an on-call capacity.

What will your duties include?

  • Partners with subject matter experts and other Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management to ensure build consistency and successful end-to-end patient centric workflow.
  • Participates in IT projects, including planning, obtaining customer input and projecting resource requirements.
  • Work with the Deputy Manager to review system requirements with customers and translate requirements into specific functions or deliverables.
  • Provides support to team members as well as serving as the initial point of contact for your assigned team.
  • Identifies and resolves complex issues, including identification of appropriate parties and potential solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Works with all clinical, business and technical resources in a positive, supportive and collaborative team manner.
  • Work with the Deputy Manager to carry out complex analysis of process workflows, data collection and reporting requirements interpreting into design where necessary.
  • Analyses flow chart processes and recommends ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through use of technology.
  • Plans, schedules and manages multiple projects requiring computer resources including project scheduling.
  • Assists with planning and completion of projects on time and as designed.
  • In conjunction with the Deputy Manager consults directly with clinical and business users, and provides second-tier support to end users to assure reliable and system application availability and performance.
  • Maintains awareness of latest developments in key areas of responsibility and brings forward opportunities that might benefit the organization.
  • Actively coordinates and participates with future Epic upgrades - coordinating test plans, developing and conducting customer communications and training for assigned team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we need from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Admin or related field
  • Understanding of Epic modules Optime and Anaesthesia, and health system operations (Essential)
  • Maintain certifications and revalidation through annual mandatory new version training (NVT) and Application essentials (AE) exams
  • Significant experience of working at a senior level in specialist area may offset the degree requirement
  • Currently certified on 1 or more clinical EPIC application(s) within the area of focus of Inpatient, Outpatient/Ambulatory (Essential)
  • Previous experience of a lead or supervisory experience with demonstrated experience in information system development (Essential)
  • Experience with supporting a major system in a clinical or system analyst capacity (Essential)
  • Experience working within an agile environment (Essential)
