Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Critical Care Outreach Charge Nurse to join our Outreach team with a highly competitive salary range up to £64,890.00 depending upon experience. This is a Monday-Sunday, Days, Nights and Weekends role with the following shift patterns: 6 week rota of 19 shifts 08:00 – 20:30 and 20:00 – 08:30.
The Critical Care Outreach role extends the critical care service outside the Intensive Care department. The outreach Charge Nurse will use their advanced critical care nursing skills and knowledge to respond when needed 24 hours a day, seven days a week working across all inpatient areas of CCL, reporting to the Outreach Lead.

What will your duties include:
- Suitable experience as a Critical Care Outreach Charge Nurse
- Carry out advanced assessment and care of deteriorating patients leading to early intervention and treatment.
- Act independently as a specialist resource to provide critical care expertise to the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensures the Critical Care Outreach Service meets the requirements of our professional and healthcare regulators, managing non-compliance and escalates to The Outreach Lead as necessary.
- Acts as an effective clinical expert and role model whilst providing direct quality patient care, sharing expertise with colleagues.
What we need from you:
- Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice
- Evidence of full Occupational Health Clearance for Exposure Prone Procedures (EPP) (Essential)
- Advanced Physical Assessment Course (Essential).
- Completed Adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Course or equivalent (Essential).
- ALS Provider Course (Essential).
- Advanced Critical Care nursing skills, with demonstrable broad experience in the role and in the field of high acuity critically-ill adults (Essential).
