Job Summary

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team with a competitive salary range on offer. This is a full-time, Monday to Sunday role (08:00 – 20:00). There is a requirement to work 1 set of night shifts (3/4 shifts) every 3-4 weeks (20:00 – 08:00).

Our Pharmacy services will enable patients to be fully involved in their own care and to make shared decisions about their treatment.

What will your duties include?

  • Supports the development, validation and maintenance of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR), and EPR/Pharmacy automation related medication databases and dictionaries.
  • Provides day-to-day clinical pharmacy services for defined clinical areas.
  • Assures safe and secure medicines management practice in clinical areas.
  • Supports Pharmacy and other multidisciplinary staff to meet their medicines-related educational and development needs.
  • Participates and supports medicines management related innovation.

What we need from you?

  • Completion of a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) - Required
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council - Required
  • Demonstrable evidence of competence in general clinical practice, including medicine and surgery – Required
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient requirements – Required
  • Experience of working in a hospital, and of project related work in this environment – Required
