Cleveland Clinic London are pleased to announce an ICU Nurse Fellowship which aims to help address the shortage of critical care nurses in the United Kingdom. The programme targets early-career nurses with critical care career aspirations via an immersive 6-month Fellowship which includes both classroom and direct care modules. This is a Monday to Sunday Days / Nights / Weekends role as per the service requirements.

What will your duties include:

  • Expand skills and knowledge in critical care practice in order to provide direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2 and 3 care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Prioritises nursing care, recognises deterioration in a patient's condition, and escalates to the site team / clinician immediately.
  • Evaluates, updates, and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

  • NMC registered adult Nurse
  • Must be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses
  • Suitable hospital-based nursing experience
  • Supports the Intensive Care Unit manager in contributing to CCL's nursing and strategic goals
