Job Summary

What are we looking for?

Reporting to a Talent Business Partner [TBP] in the London HR Team, the Talent Acquisition Specialist [TAS] is responsible for managing the full end-to-end recruitment process for hires in their area, to consistently deliver the best talent in the market to Cleveland Clinic London. Acting as a specialist in Talent Acquisition, the TAS will engage with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, maintaining a positive relationship with them, and providing support and guidance during the recruitment process. In a competitive market, it is imperative that the TAS consistently ensures that candidates have a positive experience during the Cleveland Clinic London recruitment process, irrespective of outcome, and that is aligned to Cleveland Clinic London’s values. The role will oversee candidate attraction, steer the recruitment selection process and support with a seamless transfer to post-hire compliance activity.

What will your duties include?

Candidate Attraction

  • Source candidates through advertising supported by direct sourcing candidates from CV databases, social media, market research, referrals, and similar proactive candidate sourcing methodology.
  • Engage with passive candidates to develop and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Support Hiring Manager, Talent Business Partner, and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to develop and update job descriptions [JDs] and role requirements.
  • Ensure consistency of approach in writing JDs and careful consideration of role requirements to target the correct candidate profiles and ensure that JDs are aligned to the candidate market.
  • Post jobs to Cleveland Clinic Careers Website and where appropriate to job boards and LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge and understanding of market norms in comparable functions in the public and private sector.

Selection Process

  • Engage with candidates throughout the recruitment process, maintaining a positive relationship with them and providing support and guidance during the recruitment process.
  • Always ensure candidates have a positive experience during the CCL recruitment process, irrespective of outcome.
  • Manage the candidate selection process on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platform.
  • Paper and phone screen candidate applications, providing hiring managers with a suitable shortlist of candidates.
  • Support hiring managers during the recruitment process, providing advice and guidance on recruitment best practice and market advice.
  • Support or signpost the hiring manager with development of appropriate interview questions, and balanced scoring matrix to support hiring decisions.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers, preparing candidates pre-interview and facilitating timely feedback from candidate and hiring manager post interview, gathering interview notes and uploading to Workday.
  • Where appropriate, support the hiring managers during the interview as a support interviewer, ensuring best practice during the selection process.

Manage offer process with candidate

  • Ensure all applicants & candidates receive timely outcomes to their selection process and are provided with appropriate feedback.
  • Updating the Workday ATS where applicable, leaving notes uploading documents.

Hiring & Compliance

  • Send out offer letters and contracts of employment in a timely manner.
  • Complete hiring process on ATS / HRIS platform.
  • Ensure all hiring administration is completed prior to sending recruitment file into the Compliance Team for compliance checks.
  • Support with compliance process to ensure seamless candidate experience and efficient compliance process.
  • Align with Talent Business Partner to maintain hiring metrics & key SLA’s and provide periodic activity and performance reports.

What we need from you?

  • In-house recruitment experience working as a Resourcing, Recruitment or Talent Specialist or in a comparable position role (Essential).
  • Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment life cycle from candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, to offer management (Essential).
  • Demonstrable track record of managing an individual job list, with a high volume and/or high acuity roles and consistently delivering to achieve positive outcomes (Essential).
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management experience with a successful track record of influencing and advising hiring managers to support positive recruitment outcomes (Essential).
  • Experience or utilising and maintaining an ATS (Essential).
  • Previous experience of working within private healthcare (Highly Desirable).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages (Desirable).
  • Previous experience of healthcare employment requirements (CQC) (Desirable).
  • Experience working with Workday ATS (Desirable).
