Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Acute Admissions Unit team, with a competitive salary range up to £56,675.84 depending on experience.
Shift patterns & schedule:
- This is a Monday‑Sunday, Days, Nights and Weekends role with the following shift patterns: 6 week rota of 19 shifts 08:00 – 20:30 and 20:00 – 08:30
- This role will involve overtime

In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care of patients requiring triage, acute assessment and admission under indirect supervision from senior staff.
What will your duties include?
- Provides direct nursing care to patients presenting at the Acute Admissions Unit care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of CCL.
- Keep the Acute Admissions Charge Nurse informed of all the relevant issues affecting patient care e.g. risk, staffing levels, skills and equipment needs.
- Contribute to the outreach and resus team rotas if required.
- Supports the Acute Admissions Charge Nurses /AAU Manager with the implementation and revision of core standards of care, policies and SOPs.
- Manages non‑conformance to policy, procedure and standards of care.
- Acts as a clinical leader and role model whilst providing direct quality patient care, sharing expertise with colleagues.
What we need from you?
- Nursing Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) required, with no restrictions to practice required.
- ILS provider course completed required and qualification in date.
- Demonstrable clinical and leadership experience in the field of AAU required.
