The Medical Secretary will provide secretarial and administrative support of the highest quality to consultants, performing a variety of duties to support assigned consultants such as handling telephone calls, liaising with patients, scheduling and dealing with all related correspondence. The role will also require effective and sensitive communication with patients to provide a world class service and patient experience.

What will your duties include?
- Serve as an administrative point of contact and act as a liaison between the patient and consultant.
- Support the consultant and patient with queries relating to the patient treatment pathway.
- Work collaboratively with the patient access and business office teams and provide guidance to the patient as appropriate to facilitate a seamless patient journey.
- Manage and prioritise multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively under the direction of the Medical Secretary Manager and Clinical Institute Leadership; manage and edit consultant schedules, consultant diaries, coordinating patient appointments, and responding to queries from patients, staff, and others.
- Correspond with patients via telephone, e-mail, and letter.
- Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence (e.g., medical reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.)
- Other duties assigned.
