Cleveland Clinic London are looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to provide comprehensive occupational health and administrative services for employees.

What will your duties include?

  • Provide a high‐quality occupational health nursing service to caregivers and managers, including case management, screening and clinical requirements.
  • Conduct mixed clinic activities – new starter employment screens, health surveillance, health assessments and telephone assessments.
  • Support the Occupational Health Nurse Specialist in delivering all OH services and well‐being initiatives.
  • Manage health records, ensuring safe storage, security and confidentiality in compliance with legislation and good practice.
  • Produce management reports as required.
  • Promote fitness for work, both preventative and rehabilitative, raising the profile of OH among all levels of caregivers and management.
  • Contribute to service success by working closely with stakeholders to deliver safe, effective, quality occupational health.
  • Provide advice, assessment and intervention, including vaccinations and screening of caregivers as per departmental policy.

What we need from you?

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health (essential)
  • Valid NMC PIN with no restrictions (essential)
  • Immunisation and phlebotomy training (essential)
  • Significant postgraduate UK‐based work experience in occupational health (essential)
  • Experience and competence in case management and health‐at‐work advice (essential)
  • Experience carrying out vaccination clinics (essential)
  • Knowledge of UK legislation and guidance on fitness for work and safety at work (essential)
  • Understanding of relevant employment law in an occupational health context (essential)
  • Qualified/experienced in health surveillance (essential)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages and comfort using OH software (essential)
  • Experience in health screening including audiometry, spirometry, general medicals (essential)
  • Experience providing occupational health in a healthcare setting (desirable)
