Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Lead Procurement Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team, with a salary of up to £49,000 on offer. The post holder will support the delivery of the Cleveland Clinic London (CCL) Medicines Optimisation mission of providing safe, effective, high quality and efficient pharmaceutical care by optimising medicines safety and patient outcomes. This is a Monday - Friday role, 9 - 5 role, with flexibility required around possible extra hours and weekend working.

Our Pharmacy services will enable patients to be fully involved in their own care and to make shared decisions about their treatment.

What will your duties include?

  • Lead, organise and manage the Procurement and Purchasing service.
  • Day-to-day pharmacy procurement using Epic and GHX systems to make sure hospitals have enough stock of required pharmaceuticals.
  • Be responsible for actioning the alerts and recalls of all medicines throughout the hospital.
  • Maintain and develop high quality, consistent, patient-focused pharmacy services in conjunction with clinical and patient services staff.
  • Participate in the efficient day to day running of the dispensary and assisting the lead/senior technician/Pharmacist when required.

What we need from you?

  • NVQ Level 3 (or recognised equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services (or similar).
  • Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
  • Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Extensive experience of working in Hospital Pharmacy Procurement (Essential).
  • Experience in using PowerGate or other GHX platforms (Desirable).
  • Experience of working in a busy dispensary department (Essential).
