Cleveland Clinic London is looking to recruit an Imaging Systems Administrator IEP to join our Imaging Team.

What will your duties include?
- Management and support of all digital image transfers (import/export/archive).
- Oversee Image Exchange Portal (IEP) requests, ensuring all exchanges of patient sensitive information adhere to relevant legislation, including (but not limited to) Data Protection Act 2018, Access to Medical Records Acts, and Freedom of Information Act.
- Provide first line support for the IEP application within CCL.
- Provide information and training to users to ensure appropriate and best use of the IEP system.
- Communicate with internal and external caregivers to ensure a seamless service.
- Effective reporting of any duplicate hospital MRNs, mismatches, errors, etc. to the CIST manager.
- Export to external media in cases where IEP is not available e.g. production of CDs containing patient images for internal and external requests.
- Inform clinical team members when electronic images are unavailable, so that alternative arrangements can be made.
- Maintenance and ordering of CD writers and related equipment.
- Support CIST Administrators when working with external vendors, Radiology, Cardiology, and other ancillary department personnel as well as internal technology and application caregivers as needed to facilitate installation and resolve ongoing support issues.
- Support CIST Administrators when working with individuals or groups of clinical caregivers to understand and resolve any practical issues that are identified as a barrier to efficient clinical working.
- Start building knowledge of the following specialised systems to support CIST Administrators when needed (indicative list only and non-exhaustive):
- Radiology, Cardiology and Other Imaging Workflows
- DICOM, HL7, EPR, PACS, VNA, RIS, IEP, AMBRA (CIMAR) and other third-party imaging applications and of HL7 and DICOM standards.

- Brainlab / TraumaCad
- Orpheus CAST
- Nuance PS 360
- Zeiss (Ophthalmology)
- Syngo VIA
- Digitiser
- CD burning software used to produce CDs of patient images
- CR software used in the post-processing of plain film
- Workstation used in the post-processing of MRI
- Workstation used in the post-processing of CT
- Orthopaedic electronic templating software used to pre-plan operations such as hip joint replacements
- Other Third Party DICOM systems
- Build knowledge of day-to-day operation of PACS/VNA, Cardiology systems including image workflow, archiving, auto routing, prefetching, and other related activities, to support CIST Administrators when needed.
- Promote best practices with regard to Clinical Imaging Systems.
- Support new user IDs and passwords for system users and changes, in consultation with the CIST Manager and Administrators.
- Ensure that all clinical and other information records are fully and accurately completed.
- Support CIST Administrators to organise training for a wide range of clinical and non-clinical caregivers at the appropriate level.
- Support GDPR data retention and removal of data.
- Attend and participate in departmental and hospital meetings.
- Attend seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain an appropriate level of professional competence.
- Perform other functions as required and/or assigned.
- Act in accordance with, contribute to, and be involved in revision, training, and implementation of departmental and professional policies and procedures such as:
- Health and Safety including risk assessments
- Radiation Protection Procedures
- Ionisation Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 (IR(ME)R17)
- Quality Assurance Programs
- Clinical Governance
- Information Governance
- Royal College of Radiology (RCR), British Cardiovascular Society (BCS), British Society for Heart Failure (BSH), British Society of Echocardiography (BSE), British Cardiovascular Interventional Society (BCIS), British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) Guidance
What we need from you?
- Professions Council or equivalent IT/Healthcare experience desired.
- IEP Administrator training desired.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent desirable.
- Equivalent to a level of 7 of the International English Language Testing System or the Occupational English Test (OET) at level B is required.
- Knowledge of Imaging Systems and the interrelationship of these with other clinical services within a complex hospital environment (essential).
- Knowledge of Information Governance and its use within the Imaging IT environment (essential).
- Knowledge of working practices within Imaging departments (desirable).
- Knowledge of IR(ME)R and Ionising Radiations Regulations (desirable).
- Relevant personal history of continuing professional development (desirable).
- Preferred previous experience in the UK private healthcare sector (desirable).
- RIS/PACS knowledge (essential).
- IT interest and knowledge (desirable).
- Knowledge of IEP or about safe image sharing (essential).
- Build and sustain professional relationships and work as part of the imaging team.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Requires dexterity to produce materials on a computer.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work autonomously.
