Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit an ICU Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Nursing Education Team. This is a Monday to Friday role. The Clinical Nurse Educator position is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating unit-based orientation and educational activities for personnel at Cleveland Clinic London. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing ongoing competencies and training using evidence-based methodologies that embrace Patient-Centered Care, the nursing professional practice model, and shared decision making.

What will your duties include?
- Designs, directs, implements and evaluates educational offerings based on knowledge, skills and learning levels of nursing staff and allied health professionals.
- Develops and utilizes appropriate evaluation systems to determine the effectiveness of educational activities.
- Consults with individuals within the Nursing Institute and Ambulatory Nursing, CCL and the community regarding professional nursing practice and roles.
- Assists in the development of department specific orientation and competencies.
- Assists departments in orientation of staff.
- Monitors and evaluates nurse performance during orientation in conjunction with nurse preceptor.
What we need from you?
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- Critical Care Course at Level 6 (Degree level, a Certificate in Continuing Education qualification) or Level 7 (Master's level, a Postgraduate Certificate) required.
- Extensive recent nursing education experience required with demonstrable clinical expertise to include clinical nursing experience, overseeing preceptorship programme is desirable.
- Demonstrable knowledge of clinical education methodology such as training needs assessment (TNA's), clinical training curriculum development, instructional design and principles of adult learning.
- Excellent presentation and training skills required, with track record of delivering clinical training sessions.
