The Nursing Education Specialist (NES)- ED/Imaging serves as a clinical expert, health care provider, educator, consultant, and leader within their given specialty. The NES partners with key stakeholders in coordinating and guiding the design, implementation and evaluation of safe, cost-effective, evidence-based education strategies for their designated areas.
Participation in Life Support and Simulation is expected.
- Assists staff with evidence-based research/literature searches to support process/quality improvement.
- Ensures the continuing Professional Development of CCNO caregivers through the design and delivery of learning events that receive CEU / CME, HAAD credential.
- Facilitates the incorporation of patient safety and Magnet principles into all patient care.
- Identifies risk.
