Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for directing all activity related to overseeing the day-to-day operations and activities within the assigned Nursing Institute function including people and financial management, service design, care delivery and evaluation. The Director will work collaboratively with the Executive Director, CNO and all of the Nursing Institute leadership team to liaise with other CCAD institutes and departments.

Provides leadership ensuring organizational compliance with established HAAD regulations & accreditation standards from local, corporate and international regulatory and accrediting agencies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, extensive sitting, standing and/or walking, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout CCAD and lift up to 12 Kg

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing required
  • Master’s degree in Nursing/ Healthcare/Management/ Administration field is required
  • Equivalent qualification from an accredited Institution and completion of specialty qualification as per the Recognized Specialty Certificate table listed in Healthcare Professionals Qualification Requirements 2014

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years leadership experience, at least 2 at the Nurse Manager level or above
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in quality improvement, patient safety, and caregiver engagement
  • Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic

Certification and Licensure

Current Professional License as a Registered Nurse in country of origin
