Working out of our Head Office in Stonebridge Park, this is a full time position, working 08:00am to 17:00pm. As a Planning Assistant you will… * Assist the Delivery Unit Planning team as directed. * Assist in the production of the Delivery Unit Period Possession Plan and resource schedules. * Submit and process a variety of Programmes and Resource Planning requests in compliance with agreed processes and procedures. * Organising travel passes. * Accurately input, update and maintain relevant planning systems and records as required. * Assist in the coordination and optimisation of all resources for efficient maintenance delivery. * Provide effective support to plan changes and emergency works. * Liaise with external and internal contacts across functions in relation to the planning requests. * Assist in the preparation of reports as required. * Booking of training, medicals and D&As as required * Ordering of PPE. Person Specification includes; * Ability to work well in a team, with all members of the company and alone * To be professional and present a positive image of CCS at all times * Fulfil time keeping and attendance expectations * Possess good interpersonal skills * Basic skills on Outlook, Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel * Have good interpersonal communication (verbal, written and listening) skills, that will support the delivery of your duties and able to clearly explain tasks and inspire others with varying background * Have high standards of attention to detail in all aspects of your work * Show initiative and know when to escalate issues for Supervisor/ Management support.
