We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Social Value Advisor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience in delivering and managing social value across construction projects.

You will support the coordination, tracking, and reporting of social value activities using Thrive software, working closely with project teams, clients, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Social Value Delivery
    • Assist in the planning and delivery of social value initiatives across construction projects
    • Support site teams in meeting their social value commitments
    • Help coordinate activities such as school engagement, work experience placements, and community events
  • Data Management & Reporting (Thrive)
    • Accurately input and maintain social value data using Thrive
    • Support the tracking of KPIs and project targets
    • Assist in producing reports for internal teams and clients
    • Ensure evidence is collected and stored correctly
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Support engagement with local communities, charities, and education providers
    • Assist in organising events such as careers fairs, site visits, and volunteering days
    • Help promote social value activities across the business
  • Learning & Development
    • Develop an understanding of social value frameworks such as the Social Value Model and TOMs
    • Gain knowledge of the construction industry and its impact on local communities
    • Participate in training and development opportunities
Key Skills & Experience
  • Essential:
    • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (e.g., Sustainability, Social Sciences, Geography, Construction, or similar)
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills
    • Good attention to detail, particularly when managing data
    • Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Desirable:
    • Awareness of social value, CSR, or sustainability concepts
    • Any experience (academic, voluntary, or work-based) involving community engagement or data tracking
    • Familiarity with Thrive or similar systems (not essential—training will be provided)
