We are working on behalf of a well-established, highly regarded organisation in the construction products and building materials sector to recruit an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Yorkshire region. Our client specialises in insulation solutions for the Irish and UK markets, offering a range of products including cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation and energy efficient solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional to join a growing business with a strong reputation for technical expertise, quality products, and customer service.
The Role
- As Regional Sales Manager for the North of England, you will be responsible for driving sales performance across your territory by developing strong relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities.
- You will act as a key ambassador for the business, providing technical and commercial solutions to clients across the construction and built environment sectors, carrying out duties in accordance with the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales across the North of England in line with company targets.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies in collaboration with senior management.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong existing client relationships.
- Promote a comprehensive range of construction products and solutions.
- Prepare and manage quotations, tenders, and sales forecasts.
- Provide technical advice and support to customers, including contractors, engineers, and architects.
- Attend site meetings, trade shows, CPD events, and industry networking opportunities.
- Deliver professional sales and technical presentations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales documentation, and activity reports.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Operate in line with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within construction products or building materials.
- Business, sales, or marketing qualification (or equivalent industry experience).
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to develop regional growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong IT skills, including CRM systems, MS Office, and online applications.
- Full driving licence with the flexibility to travel.
