The Opportunity
At Clerkenwell Health, we are an innovative clinical research organisation specialising in the delivery of scientifically grounded clinical trials, with a focus on mental health and CNS conditions, including psychedelic drug development. We are looking for a Pre-screener to support patient recruitment and engagement across Phase 1–3 clinical trials. This role sits at the intersection of patient experience and clinical operations, playing a key part in ensuring studies are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting patient recruitment and engagement across multiple clinical trials
- Acting as a first point of contact for potential participants, patient groups, and partners
- Communicating study information clearly and appropriately to non-clinical audiences
- Pre-screening and coordinating participants in line with study protocols
- Managing scheduling, follow-ups, and participant communications
- Assisting with the development and execution of recruitment strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience in clinical research, patient engagement, or healthcare settings
- Ability to be on the phone screening multiple potential participants each day
- Understanding of mental health
- Ability to solve problems using initiative
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and in a team
- Confident using digital tools
- Able to work 3-5 days for 3-4 months, with flexible hours offered
