About us

Clerkenwell Health is a specialist clinical research organisation operating at the forefront of CNS and psychedelic medicine. We partner with innovative biotech and pharmaceutical companies developing treatments for depression, PTSD, anxiety and addiction, providing high-quality clinical trials.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Commercial Associate to join our commercial team and work directly with our Sales Director in a rare graduate opportunity with genuine responsibility and career progression.

The role

This is not a typical graduate role. You’ll be joining a lean, high-impact commercial function where you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to business development, sales operations, CRM management, marketing coordination and commercial strategy from day one. Working closely with senior leadership, external agencies and AI‑powered tools, you’ll help drive the commercial engine of the business. You’ll see how opportunities are won, proposals are developed, and commercial decisions are made - and you’ll play an active role in making it happen.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the CRM, ensuring data accuracy, pipeline management, dashboards and reporting.
  • Support the sales director with business development activities through market research, prospect identification, proposal drafting and meeting preparation.
  • Coordinate commercial projects with external agencies and technology partners.
  • Help manage the rollout of AI‑enabled commercial initiatives and outreach processes.
  • Coordinate marketing activity, including content calendars, website updates, events, and campaign tracking.
  • Provide flexible support across the commercial function, contributing to a wide range of strategic and operational projects.

What we’re looking for

  • A recent graduate or someone with up to 4 years’ experience.
  • Strong written communication skills and confidence producing client‑facing documents.
  • Commercial curiosity and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Confidence using modern software and AI tools; HubSpot experience is a bonus but not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Why join Clerkenwell Health?

This is a unique opportunity to build a career at the intersection of life sciences, healthcare, commercial strategy and AI. You’ll receive direct exposure to senior leadership, sponsors and commercial decision‑making, with the chance to develop rapidly as the business grows. You’ll be joining an innovative area of healthcare research, working in a modern, technology‑enabled environment where initiative, curiosity and ambition are genuinely valued. If you’re looking for a graduate opportunity with real responsibility, outstanding learning potential, and long‑term career progression, we’d love to hear from you.
