Clerkenwell Health is a specialist clinical trial site network leading the way in innovative mental health and CNS trials. We’re proud to be launching our flagship site in Doncaster, the first of its kind, built in partnership with the NHS, combining both public and private healthcare innovation. This marks a major milestone for us and the start of many more ground-breaking projects across the UK.

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Clinical Research Physician to be the first doctor at this new site. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of research at the intersection of mental health, community care, and clinical innovation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide hands-on medical care for trial participants
  • Conduct clinical assessments, physical exams, and consent procedures
  • Fulfil PI/sub-PI responsibilities as delegated
  • Review participant records, labs, and manage AEs/SAEs
  • Support recruitment, site visits, and audit readiness
  • Be involved in both research execution and strategic input as a subject matter expert

What We’re Looking For:

  • GMC registration (full and current)
  • Post-graduation experience in Clinical Trials
  • Broad clinical experience in acute specialties
  • Strong interest in mental health, CNS, and/or psychedelic research
  • Exceptional communication and teamworking skills

Bonus if you have:

  • MRCP / MRCGP / MRCPsych
  • Experience in neurology or psychiatry
  • GCP knowledge and/or pharmaceutical background
