Cleo is a profitable, fastâgrowing fintech unicorn that wants to fundamentally change humanity's relationship with money. We are looking for a senior product engineer who builds dataâdriven, featureârich products for our users and who will grow with us as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Join a crossâfunctional product squad and collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts and other disciplines to develop features that enhance users' financial health.
- Collaborate with senior peers to provide technical insight into upcoming work, and lead the delivery by pulling the team together to get it shipped.
- Mentor colleagues to grow as engineers and actively support their development.
- Work on our Ruby on Rails monolith â build data models, APIs and businessâlogic services.
- Deliver work using agile methodologies and tools such as testing, observability, A/B testing and feature flags.
- Analyze data to identify problems and generate new ideas, using database queries, logs and user research.
- Provide inâhours support and, optionally, join the compensated outâofâhours onâcall rotation.
- Contribute to crossâcutting concerns that improve our engineering efforts.
- Participate in product ideation, user research, design reviews, retrospectives, and other nonâtechnical aspects of the squad.

Qualifications

- At least 4 years of industry experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience in building scalable, testâdriven applications in a monolithic architecture.
