About Cleo
At Cleo, we are embarking on a mission to fundamentally change humanity's relationship with money. Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of background or income, has access to a hyper-intelligent financial advisor in their pocket. That is the future we are creating. Cleo is a profitable, fast-growing unicorn with over $200 million in ARR and growing over 2x year-over-year. This is a chance to join a team of brilliant, driven individuals who are passionate about making a real difference.
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior / Lead Marketing Analyst (Paid) to join Cleo's Marketing Analytics team. You will be a primary analytics partner for our performance marketing function, helping scale a sophisticated paid acquisition engine across Meta, TikTok, Google and emerging channels. Your work will directly influence how we deploy multi-million-dollar marketing budgets, how we measure incrementality, and how we expand into new products and geographies.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyse the performance of major paid channels including Meta, TikTok and Google, across multiple markets.
- Diagnose trends, identify scale opportunities, and proactively recommend channel and creative optimisations.
- Support the upcoming UK relaunch and expansion into new geographies with clear performance targets and tracking.
- Design, implement and interpret incrementality tests, including conversion lift and geo-lift experiments.
- Evolve our cross-channel attribution frameworks so we can make better decisions under signal loss and privacy changes.
- Build and maintain models that guide budget allocation, payback and unit economics for paid channels.
- Surface insights that directly shape multi-million-pound investment decisions and growth bets.
- Partner with performance marketing, creatives, product marketing and growth leadership on strategy and testing roadmaps.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, commercial way.
The team you’ll join
You will sit within Cleo's Data organisation – a 60-person team of Analysts and Data Scientists who partner across product and growth.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience in marketing or growth analytics, with significant time spent on paid acquisition for B2C or subscription products. Strong SQL skills; comfortable exploring, transforming and validating large datasets independently. Hands-on analytics experience around paid acquisition channels (Meta, TikTok, Google) at meaningful spend levels. Practical experience with experimentation (e.g. A/B tests, lift tests, geo-experiments) and basic causal inference concepts. Familiarity with marketing attribution tools or frameworks (platform attribution, MMPs, or internal models). Strong commercial judgement: able to connect channel metrics to payback, LTV and profitability, and communicate trade-offs clearly. Ability to communicate complex analysis simply to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
Python or R for more advanced experimentation, modelling or analytics automation. Experience with advanced marketing measurement approaches at scale including techniques like MMM or MTA. Exposure to multi-market launches or relaunches (e.g. country launches, new product lines). Experience with app attribution / MMPs (e.g. AppsFlyer, Adjust) or web/mobile tracking tools. Experience in consumer fintech, high-growth consumer apps or subscription products.
What do you get for all your hard work?
A competitive compensation package (base + equity) with bi-annual reviews. A clear progression plan. Flexibility to ensure a healthy work-life balance. Work where you work best, with a hybrid approach for those in London.
Other Benefits
Company-wide performance reviews every 6 months. Generous pay increases for high-performing team members. Equity top-ups for team members getting promoted. 25 days annual leave a year + public holidays (+ an additional day for every year you spend at Cleo, up to 30 days). 6% employer-matched pension in the UK. Private Medical Insurance via Vitality, dental cover, and life assurance. Enhanced parental leave. 1 month paid sabbatical after 4 years at Cleo. Regular socials and activities, online and in-person.
Welcoming Everyone
We strongly encourage applications from people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, parents, carers, and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
