Responsibilities:
- Develop processes and best-practice documentation for quality assurance in product engineering, keeping our learning-at-speed core value front of mind.
- Work closely with cross-functional squads to embed rigorous testing processes into their existing agile workflows.
- Partner with engineering leadership to identify the metrics and data that should be measured and tracked to enable continuous improvement of the Cleo app's quality.
- Validate and log detailed bug reports from user-reported defects, prioritising and assigning bugs to squad owners.
- Perform regular regression testing on the Cleo react-native application, prioritising and assigning bugs found.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop an automated end-to-end testing solution for the Cleo app, enabling testing of our core user journeys in the continuous-integration pipeline.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years creating from scratch and managing a QA function.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive experience working in cross-functional agile squads.
- Experience testing a react-native mobile application.
- Experience developing automated end-to-end test suites in a modern mobile or web application.
- Experience utilising data and analytics to track the impact of quality on business-level metrics and KPIs.
- Familiarity with continuous-integration/continuous-deployment, especially CircleCI.
Nice to Have:
- Previous QA role at a fintech company.
- Experience with or knowledge of AI-based testing tools such as Testim.
