About The Role

If you're a customer-obsessed Product Marketing Manager with AI or deep-tech experience, this is an opportunity to help define the future of one of the world's most ambitious AI-powered consumer products.

You’ll be the dedicated PMM for our AI & Chat pillar, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Growth to shape what we build, how we bring it to market, and how millions of customers experience AI-powered financial guidance.

From influencing product strategy and positioning to leading launches and driving adoption, you'll own the full lifecycle of some of Cleo's most strategic initiatives.

We’re hiring in both the US (East Coast-friendly hours) and London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with product to shape our next-gen AI
  • Build a trusted partnership with product and engineering, influencing roadmap decisions through deep customer understanding, market insights, competitive intelligence, and whitespace analysis.
  • You are the go-to expert on our AI product and underlying technology – where we win, where we don’t, and why.
  • You understand or are able to grasp the technical details quickly and independently.
  • Deeply understand our US-based audience’s money habits, needs, and behaviors across AI and financial products.
  • Bring the voice of the customer into product development from the earliest stages, helping ensure we're building products that solve real problems and stand out in the market.
  • Lead bold and insightful GTM
  • Own end-to-end GTM for AI-driven features, from early-stage concepting through launch, iteration, and scaled growth.
  • Create clear, compelling positioning and messaging that lands emotionally and functionally, grounded in insight and differentiated by brand.

You can oscillate equally between technical concepts aimed at investors to simplified versions aimed at consumers.

  • Write sharp strategy and creative briefs that help cross-functional teams produce their best work.
  • Design and execute channel strategies and launch plans from scratch, whether it’s a major feature rollout or a market-defining innovation.
  • Drive growth through continuous learning
  • Partner closely with Lifecycle, Performance Marketing, Product, and Data Science to increase adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Use experimentation, customer insights, and data to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and continuously improve product performance.
  • Define success metrics, measure impact, and use learnings to influence future product and marketing decisions.

About You

  • 6+ years of Product Marketing experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology companies.
  • Strong AI or deep technical fluency - you can quickly understand complex technologies and translate them into clear customer value without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Proven experience bringing innovative products to market, from early-stage (0→1) launches through scaled growth.
  • Highly autonomous and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

You independently drive complex initiatives from strategy through execution, requiring little direction while keeping stakeholders aligned.

  • You thrive on solving problems without obvious answers. You're resourceful, ask thoughtful questions, connect disparate information, and create clarity where none exists.
  • Strong cross-functional leader with a track record of influencing Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing teams to make better decisions and deliver better outcomes.
  • Customer-obsessed, intellectually curious, and biased toward action. You have high standards, challenge assumptions, and continuously raise the quality of the work around you.
  • Breakdown Of Interview Process
  • 30 minute initial call with the Talent team to assess your suitability for the role.
  • 45 minute problem solving case that will delve into your commercial mindset & analytical ability.
  • 45 minute conversational deep-dive with our Product Marketing Director.
  • Take home task - reviewed by our Product Marketing Director
  • Panel with our Head of AI pillar and Head of Technical Content.
  • A bar raiser interview to delve into your experience & career history.
