Most money apps talk at you. Cleo talks back. We're not building another finance app. We're building the world's first AI financial assistant, one that actually understands your money and makes you better at it, and we're changing the world's relationship with money in the process for everyone, whatever their background or balance.
The proof: profitable, fast-growing, a unicorn with over $300M in ARR, and millions of people who now feel differently about their money.
We love original thinkers who challenge the status quo. We move fast, tell the truth, and there's nowhere to hide from good work here. If that excites you more than it scares you, you'll fit right in.
Here at Cleo we have ~35 Product Managers owning and running Squads across our Pillars. Product Management defines what Cleo builds and why it matters. From setting direction to prioritising what ships, Product ensures we’re solving the right problems for our users and the business. As we scale, this shifts from “managing a roadmap” to “shaping the long-term vision and impact of Cleo’s products.”
We are currently hiring a Lead Product Manager for the Financial Assistant Pillar. Working alongside your squad of 12 people across Engineering, UXR and Data Science you'll be responsible for:
- Own how Cleo measures and improves the quality of its AI financial conversations - building the infrastructure that lets the pillar iterate with confidence.
- Sit at the intersection of AI product quality, ML systems, and conversation design in a technical PM capacity.
- Prioritise across two parallel workstreams: the evals harness and multi-agent architecture.
- Work closely with backend and ML engineers and conversation designers to define what 'good' looks like and how to measure it at scale.
- Run sprint planning across a 13-person team split into two tracks, translating between technical execution and pillar-level product direction.
- Turn ambiguous quality problems into testable hypotheses - and hold the team accountable to them.
- High-leverage remit: the pace of this work sets the pace at which Cleo can learn and improve its core AI experience.
What we're looking for:
- Extensive product management experience, building consumer facing products.
- Experience working with AI Evals products that are built to change behaviours in users.
- Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to focus your team on impactful work.
- Collaborative and inclusive leadership style with a track record of empowering cross-functional teams.
- Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Creativity in approaching product challenges and rethinking how people manage their finances.
- High energy and ownership mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
- Passion for building tools that improve users’ financial lives through engaging, meaningful conversations.
We offer benefits package built to support you in and out of work. Benefits vary by country:
- Meaningful equity.
- Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance.
- Mental health support.
- A paid one-month sabbatical after four years.
- A learning and development platform.
- Pension or retirement contributions.
- Location-specific leave entitlements.
