About The Role

We seek a hands-on, data-driven Email & CRM Marketing Executive to help scale and optimize Cleo’s customer communication strategy. As our company doubles in size, we aim to strengthen our Email and CRM capabilities with an experienced professional to accelerate campaign execution. This role is suitable for someone with strong technical expertise in email marketing and CRM, who enjoys testing, optimization, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities include owning campaign execution, driving engagement, retention, and conversion via email, push notifications, and in-app messaging. Collaboration with creative, data, product, and growth teams is essential to ensure impactful messaging aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Optimization: Own end-to-end execution of Email and CRM campaigns, including segmentation, setup, testing, scheduling, and deployment. Coordinate with creative and content teams to ensure messaging aligns with Cleo’s brand voice. Conduct QA and A/B testing to maximize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Develop automated workflows to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Growth Initiatives: Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys and increase lifetime value. Design data-driven experiments to test new messaging, personalization, and segmentation strategies. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to explore new CRM capabilities and integrations.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor KPIs like open rates, CTR, and conversions; analyze trends and insights. Prepare reports with actionable recommendations, working with the data team to refine targeting and personalization.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in Email Marketing, CRM, or Lifecycle Marketing.
  • Experience with platforms like Braze, Iterable, or Customer.io.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies.
  • Basic HTML/CSS editing skills for emails.
  • Strong analytical skills; familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker, or similar tools.
  • SQL knowledge is a plus; support for development encouraged.
  • Experience in B2C marketing, preferably in Fintech or App Marketing.
