We’re looking for a skilled and curious Market Researcher to join our growing insights function and help shape product and commercial strategy through high-quality, quantitative market research. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, behaviour, and business impact, and is comfortable working across teams to uncover what drives users and markets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and execute market research projects using advanced quantitative techniques such as conjoint analysis, experimental design, and segmentation to uncover actionable insights on product preferences, user needs, and market opportunities.
- Conduct market sizing, pricing research, and new market opportunity assessments to support expansion strategy and go-to-market planning.
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, growth, and marketing teams to frame learning objectives, develop survey instruments, and deliver insights that drive roadmap, positioning, and commercial decisions.
- Contribute to pricing strategy through user value perception studies, elasticity testing, and packaging experiments.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, structured, and influential way, translating complexity into clarity and action.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated experience with quantitative market research methods such as choice-based conjoint, max diff, cluster/segmentation analysis, and experimental design.
- Ability to frame business problems and translate them into clear research hypotheses.
- Comfort designing and interpreting survey-based studies with advanced logic, sampling, and statistical reliability.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively, from framing the question to delivering the insight.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations.
- If you have led high-level analyses that synthesise primary and secondary data (e.g. internal product data, third-party benchmarks, analyst reports) to uncover macro trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving consumer behaviours - that would be an awesome bonus!
What do you get for all your hard work?
- An above market compensation package (Base + Equity). We’re prepared to pay for the very best.
- A clear progression plan. We want you to keep growing. That means trying new things, leading others, challenging the status quo and owning your impact. Always with our complete support.
- Flexibility: We treat you as humans first, employees second. Because we can’t fight for the world’s financial health, if we’re not healthy ourselves. This means all the usual perks but it also means flexibility.
- Hybrid-first: Join our hybrid-first team, where we blend the best of both remote and in-office work. We expect our team members to be in our London office 1-2 times a week.
- Other benefits: Generous pay increases for high-performers and high-growth team members, equity top-ups for team members getting promoted, 25 days annual leave a year + public holidays (+ an additional day for every year you spend at Cleo), private medical insurance via Vitality, dental cover, and life assurance, enhanced parental leave, 1 month paid sabbatical after 4 years at Cleo, regular socials and activities, online and in-person, online mental health support via Spill, and many more!
