At Cleo, we are embarking on a mission to fundamentally change humanity's relationship with money. Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of background or income, has access to a hyper-intelligent financial advisor in their pocket. Cleo is a profitable, fast-growing unicorn with over $200 million in ARR and growing over 2x year-over-year. We seek individuals who are not only at the top of their field but also embody our culture of collaboration and positive impact.

The Chief of Staff (EA) ensures the CEO is always focused on the highest-leverage work - both professionally and personally - while building and leading the CEO Office as a high-performing function. This is not a traditional EA role. You will combine hands-on executive support with operational leadership, managing the CEO's priorities, leading a small team, and driving execution across the organisation on the CEO's behalf.

Key Responsibilities

  • CEO Support & Enablement: Provide comprehensive support across the CEO's professional and personal life, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Own calendar management, travel, meeting preparation, and day-to-day logistics. Anticipate needs before they arise and solve problems before they escalate.
  • CEO Office Leadership: Lead and develop the CEO Office function. Directly manage the CEO's existing Executive Assistant and coordinate with the Founders Associates who support senior leadership.
  • Priorities & Operating Rhythm: Manage the CEO's priorities and time with discipline. Triage inbound requests, enforce focus on what matters most, and build a sustainable operating rhythm.
  • Meeting & Forum Management: Design agendas, prep materials, and success criteria for CEO-led meetings. Run the operational execution of leadership team meetings, board preparation, and investor engagements.
  • Communication & Coordination: Draft and deliver high-impact communications on behalf of the CEO. Translate verbal direction into clear written briefs and action items.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years supporting senior executives in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated progression into broader operational responsibilities
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
  • High EQ, discretion, and sound judgement when handling sensitive information
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving outcomes without formal authority
  • Proactive and self-directed; you don’t wait for instructions
  • Execution-oriented and proud of precision and follow-through
  • View the EA role as a launchpad for growth into broader operational leadership

  • Transparent career progression and clear expectations tied to impact
  • Hybrid-friendly work approach with flexibility built into how we work
  • Generous annual leave and benefits (including parental leave, sabbaticals, mental health support, pension match)
  • Opportunity to work directly with the CEO and executive leadership to shape how Cleo scales
