Description

In accordance with the guidelines of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), faculty teaching baccalaureate-level courses should have a doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline (nutrition or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline) with registered dietitian credentials. For this position, a PhD is required; but ABD candidates who are near completion of the doctoral degree may also apply, provided that the Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree is completed within an appropriate timeframe established by the University (preference will be given to candidates with degree completed before December 30, 2026). Preferred -2-3 years of relevant work experience, university level teaching experience, and experience with distance education. Applicants should have excellent oral and written English communication skills, ability to work in teams, solve problems, and have demonstrated skills in electronic/information technology. Candidates that have proven effectiveness in university teaching will be given priority. For full consideration apply by 5 October 2026.
