Electrical Estimator required based at Welwyn Garden City. The Role will include:
- An excellent understanding and knowledge of HV/LV Distribution systems, Primary & Secondary Containment systems to services Small Power, Lighting, FA/Data/CCTV/iBMS, and testing/inspection of all services.
- Producing and delivering accurate electrical estimates, within the specified scope and defined time periods and assisting and advising the Senior Management team on commercial influences and risks associated with any bids.
- Obtain and analyse quotes from suppliers and subcontractors during the tender bidding process to complete a bid package, pricing, and qualification information.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the Company's estimating software, ensuring information is accurate and up to date in conjunction with maintaining and updating the library of rates for sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Producing and updating tender settlement documents.
- Provide value engineering solutions.
- There is no remote working available with this position.
The ideal candidate:
- At least 5/6 years as an Electrical Estimator.
- Must be electrically biased.
- Should have excellent communication skills.
- Should have excellent Excel skills.
- Countfire Experience.
- Presentation and report writing skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience and track record of working to and achieving tight deadlines set by our clients on the return of the tender bids.
