Clements Young are looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager for ongoing works at Heathrow Airport. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an Airport environment. You must be an individual who comes from a previous background of working large M&E projects, being in charge of the project schedule for all electrical aspects, managing all sub-contractors, have a strong understanding of everything H&S, develop and implement company procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager to manage and supervise.
  • Ensure the following & implementing of site safety plan & rules.
  • Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficiency, plan labour and material resources ahead of time, and manage subcontractor labour hours.
  • Track and Manage subcontractor activities.
  • Be a 1st class communicator.
  • Ensuring materials are checked and match the project specification prior to installation on site.
  • Implementation of the project quality plan, with all snag lists closed out.
  • Project hand over to client in conjunction with PM.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Trade or Degree qualified in an electrical or electrical discipline.
  • At least 5 years experience.
  • Previous experience in Airports would be an advantage.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate your team, as well as management of subcontractors on site.
