General Labourer / Streetworks Operative (Long-Term Contract)

Employer: Clements Young (family‑run civils firm, Lincoln)

Location: Stapleford, Lincoln (LN6)

Salary: £16.75 per hour (CIS)

Job Type: Full-time, Contract (1-3 Years)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 16:30 (9 hours paid daily)

Role Overview

This is a high‑energy, active role. The shift involves groundworks, site support, and teamwork with the 7.5t driver and gang leader to ensure high‑quality reinstatement and a safe site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with digging, saw‑cutting, raking, and hot‑lay macadam (tarmac).
  • Keeping the work area safe, clear, and supplied.
  • Working closely with the 7.5t driver and gang leader to ensure high‑quality reinstatement and a safe site.

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card (strictly essential).
  • Physically fit, reliable, and willing to graft.
  • Looking for steady, long‑term candidates.
