Clements Young is recruiting on behalf of a growing electrical contractor for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager. This is a senior role overseeing commercial, industrial, and new build electrical projects across the region. You will manage the full lifecycle of multiple electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The position involves operational leadership, labour allocation, commercial oversight, and consistent client engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage commercial, industrial and new build electrical projects
- Programme, plan and deliver multiple jobs simultaneously
- Oversee engineers, subcontractors and apprentices
- Ensure all works meet compliance, quality and H&S standards
- Handle procurement, materials and supplier management
- Support estimating, tenders and pricing
- Monitor budgets, variations and commercial performance
- Build strong client relationships and secure repeat business
- Improve internal processes, reporting and communication
- Fully qualified electrician (JIB Gold / Black Card)
- 18th Edition 2391 or equivalent
- 10+ years electrical industry experience
- 3–5+ years as a Contracts Manager / Electrical Site Manager / Electrical Project Manager
- Strong commercial awareness (margins, variations, procurement)
- Experience managing multiple projects and teams
- Confident communicator with leadership skills
- Familiar with job / project management software
