We are seeking a skilled and reliable 2nd Fix Carpenter to join our construction team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the second stage of carpentry work ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Duties

  • Fit and install internal fixtures such as doors, skirting boards, architraves , Oak Window casements to fit to the existing frames.
  • Assist with the assembly and installation of Oak doors
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out carpentry tasks efficiently.
  • Perform joinery work, including fitting window frames, staircases,
  • Carry out heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently around the site.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or general construction work.
  • Skilled in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • CIS / or Umbrella Paye as payment methods
  • Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • CSCS Card preferable but not essential
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
