Our client is a leading UK and European specialist in sub-mains, structured cabling and fibre installations, delivering high-quality solutions across commercial, industrial, residential, construction, infrastructure, data centre and telecommunications sectors. With a highly skilled team and the capacity to deliver projects of any scale, they manage works from inception to completion, placing strong emphasis on planning, innovation, clear communication and on-time delivery, and are trusted by major contractors for their consistent standards, technical excellence and customer-focused approach.

Our client is looking for an Intermediate M&E QS. Not a Junior as such, but more of an intermediate QS who has been in construction for at least 3-4 years and therefore has experience in the day-to-day commercials. Whilst training and learning our client's way of working will be a natural progression as they grow with the business, they are looking for someone who can confidently manage a project commercially, instinctively knowing the required commercial tasks without needing to be told. Although they do not expect you to know everything, they expect you to ask questions if you are unsure about something.

  • The ideal candidate would be electrically biased or have a good understanding of electrical small power & lighting, Submains, LV and HV installations.
  • The ideal candidate would have spent time working on the tools, although this is not essential.
  • Not essential but Data Centre experience would be preferable.
  • The ideal candidate should be confident and have good communication skills.
  • A significant portion of our work is based in Mainland Europe and the Nordics; therefore, infrequent site visits may be required when necessary. The ideal candidate would need to be willing to travel and work away, usually only for important meetings on site, which will be one or two nights away. Travel and accommodation are provided by our client.

A market competitive package is on offer.
