Lithographic Offset Printer
Location: Yaxham, Norfolk
Hours: 37.5 hours per week + overtime opportunities
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, based in Yaxham, is looking for an experienced and skilled Lithographic Offset Printer to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printer to join a busy, quality-focused production environment, working with high-specification machinery.
The Role
As a Lithographic Offset Printer, you will be responsible for operating the printing press and ensuring high-quality finished products are produced efficiently and consistently.
Duties will include:
- Operating a Man Roland 560 B2/6 colour press with UV coater.
- Carrying out press operation from plate loading through to registration.
- Maintaining consistent colour quality throughout production.
- Carrying out regular quality checks.
- Mixing inks to the required specifications.
- Managing stock levels of paper, plates and other consumables.
- Working to minimise waste and maintain production efficiency.
- Carrying out routine cleaning and housekeeping of machinery.
- Troubleshooting mechanical and print-related issues.
- Supporting routine maintenance activities.
- Following all health & safety and company procedures.
- Working as part of a team to meet production and quality targets.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Lithographic Printer.
- Experience with UV presses.
- Good colour management skills.
- A strong eye for detail and a right-first-time attitude.
- The ability to troubleshoot mechanical and print issues.
- Good understanding of print quality and registration.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
- A positive and team-focused attitude.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment.
