Clements Young Ltd is currently recruiting for a Site Cleaner on behalf of our client, working on a new build housing development in Lakenham, Norwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy construction site, ensuring welfare facilities, site offices, and communal areas are kept clean, safe, and presentable. This role offers consistent weekday work with the opportunity to secure a long-term position for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning site offices, canteens, toilets, and welfare facilities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising all designated areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Restocking consumables including soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- General site cleaning duties as required
- Working safely and efficiently as part of the site team
What we're looking for:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred (construction site experience is advantageous)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Excellent attention to detail
- Safety boots
- Must be able to drive due to working on construction sites
- Own transport is preferred due to the site location
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay:
- £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
- £14.24 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes rolled-up holiday pay)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts 7:30am to 16:30pm
- Ongoing work with the opportunity to progress into a full-time position
