Job Title: Catcher – Night Shift
Location: Norfolk
Hours: Sunday afternoon to Friday morning, typically 6:00pm until finish (sometimes as late as 8:00am)
Pay:
- £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
- £14.24 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes rolled-up holiday pay)
Clements Young Ltd is currently recruiting for a Catcher on behalf of our client based in Norfolk.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a hands-on role working night shifts within a busy operation. The position involves working overnight from Sunday afternoon through to Friday morning, with finishing times varying depending on operational requirements.
Please note that this role involves long shifts and occasional overnight stays away from home. Hotel accommodation will be provided and paid for by the client when required.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out catching duties as part of the night-shift operation
- Working as part of a team to ensure operations run smoothly
- Following instructions and meeting daily operational requirements
- Handling duties safely and efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of work and attention to detail
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working flexible hours depending on operational requirements
- Staying away overnight when required, with hotel accommodation provided
- General duties as required by the client
What we’re looking for:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Ability to work night shifts and extended hours
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility regarding finishing times and overnight stays
- A responsible approach to health and safety
- Own transport is essential due to the location
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
