Clements Young Ltd is currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of our client based near Melton Constable. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established food production company, manufacturing high-quality food products in a clean and friendly working environment. Please note this role does not involve handling or processing meat products. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career prospects for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
- Filling, decorating and finishing a variety of cakes produced by the bakery.
- Applying collars, labels and seals to finished cakes ready for dispatch.
- Ensuring all products are finished to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail.
- Working at speed to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production and finishing process.
- Cleaning and sanitising cake decorating equipment and work areas after use.
- Completing end-of-day cleaning duties within the bakery.
- Following strict food hygiene, health & safety and company procedures.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production requirements.
- Carrying out other general bakery and production duties as required.
About You:
The successful candidate will have excellent hand speed, good manual dexterity and exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience within a bakery, food production, factory or catering environment is essential.

Pay: £12.71 per hour (PAYE) £14.24 per hour (PAYE Advanced – includes rolled-up holiday pay)
