Clements' Marketplace seeks a full-time clerk for our Blue Lobster Cafe in Portsmouth, RI. Clements' is a family owned and operated business with four locations and ties to RI & MA since 1980. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service. The position will assist customers with product selections/orders and offer suggestions as needed.
- Basic food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, pizzas and more.
- Work with the Café Manager to monitor the freshness of food and ingredients.
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines. Equipment will be utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedures. Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.
Qualifications
This position may perform other duties as required.
- Previous working experience in food service preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to resolve problems efficiently.
- Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.
Pay
$17-19/hour
