What difference will you make?
In a world dominated by social media individuals, especially vulnerable people, are bombarded with information. By making our literature as eye catching as possible you can help insure as many women and girls at risk as possible can understand both the real danger they may be in and the resources that are available to support and protect them. You will also help us communicate effectively with other stakeholders who most help us tackle this majors issues such as local and national government, ethnic communities, religious leaders, emergency services etc.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to bring clear messages to life through creative this design of printed and online materials. These needs to be attractive and compelling without distracting from the powerful messaging that must reach our target audiences. This would be gained within a small but vocal charity seeking to influence all levels of society. Ideally, you would also share our passion to confront the major challenges of violence against women and girls (VAWG).
What will you be doing?
AYDA has lots of data and analysis of the various forms of Violence against women and girls that exist within the UK. We delighted to bring to the forefront of peoples\’ attention. However, to achieve this everything that we produced needs to be as compelling and thoughts provoking as possible. It is therefore essential that we recruit an experience graphic designer to join our team of volunteers so that we can interact effectively with diverse local and national communities groups and stakeholders more widely. The successful candidate would be expected to work closely the chief executive in creating a powerful and recognised image for AYDA. By its nature the work requirements will be uneven as it would be driven by specific campaigns, conferences and grant funding bids.
