Full time or part time from September 2026 on permanent basis.

We are recruiting for a Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and thriving Maths Department at Cleeve from September 2026. We are very flexible regarding full‑time or part‑time.

Entry‑level teachers (ECTs) are very welcome and encouraged to apply. Our provision for new staff is strong, driven by a focus on career development. We are a teacher training‑lead hub school, which provides opportunities and serves as a centre of excellence for staff training. On appointment you will be supported by a successful Head of Department and a broader team of professionals, depending on your stage of career development. We pride ourselves on being the school of choice for ECTs.

If we appoint an ECT, we would pay your salary over the summer break, before starting in September. We would also consider starting you on a higher Main scale point than M1.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of what effective teaching and learning looks like for children of all abilities and be committed to enabling all students to access the curriculum in order to fulfil their academic potential. Over time, you may also contribute to our wider school offer, including our extensive range of extra‑curricular opportunities for students.
