The Role
We’re looking for a Talent Lead to take full ownership of how we attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent. Joining a lean, fast moving team, you’ll have complete scope to shape our recruitment strategy while partnering on broader People operations. You won’t just be filling roles - you’ll be shaping the talent infrastructure, driving strategic People initiatives, and acting as the direct talent partner to company leadership. This is a full-time hybrid role, with at least 3 days a week in our London office.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage End-to-End Hiring: Take full ownership of the recruitment lifecycle across all departments, from initial briefing and proactive sourcing to interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Enable Hiring Managers: Work with department leads on structured interviewing and closing top-tier candidates effectively.
  • Design Onboarding Workflows: Build structured onboarding plans and welcome initiatives to ensure seamless candidate-to-employee transitions.
  • People Operations & HR Compliance: Handle day-to-day HR administration - including contract generation, offer letters, right-to-work checks, ATS/HRIS maintenance - and take ownership of writing and maintaining company HR policies.
  • Drive Engagement & Retention: Run employee engagement initiatives, analyse feedback, and partner with leadership to implement actionable cultural improvements.
  • Drive Broader People Operations: Partner on core People & Culture projects beyond recruiting, including team talent mapping and managing immigration/visa sponsorship cases.
  • Optimize Hiring Systems & AI: Expand on AI workflows to streamline candidate touchpoints, speed up hiring velocity, and elevate our employer brand.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • Proven TA Operator: You have a successful track record managing the full recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced environment, comfortably balancing proactive sourcing with strategic planning.
  • Versatile People Partner: You are open to broader HR responsibilities beyond talent acquisition, being able to easily navigate areas like talent mapping, policy creation, visa compliance, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Curious: You stay ahead of the curve by exploring modern TA practices, sourcing tools, and AI workflows to continuously optimise workflows.
  • Hands On Builder: You thrive when rolling up your sleeves - whether writing contracts and policies, designing onboarding steps, or running end-to-end talent searches from scratch.

Benefits

  • Financial and Professional Growth
  • Direct Ownership: Work directly with leadership to shape culture, hiring practices, and People operations.
  • Growth Opportunity: Your growth is based on results and the systems you build, not tenure.
  • Training and Development: Cledara provides £500 annually for approved training and development.

Life and Wellness

  • Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
  • Private Medical: Access to private medical insurance through BUPA.
  • Health and Fitness: Access to a corporate ClassPass account, an onsite gym, and free entry to all gyms within the Fora network.

Culture and Environment

  • Supportive Environment: We provide the autonomy, and resources you need to build great things.
  • Great Tech: Work with top tier hardware and software, including a company provided Apple MacBook.
  • Vibrant Office: Our modern workspace is a stone's throw from Spitalfields Market, featuring an onsite gym, rooftop terrace, and a fully stocked kitchen with complimentary fruit, snacks, tea, and coffee.
