Support on the yearly audit, ensuring full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules throughout the year.
Manage daily cashflow, including cash balance monitoring, currency trades, and preparation of internal reporting.
Maintain the bills list and carry out associated compliance checks.
Prepare monthly VAT reports (recoverable and payable) for the UK and Germany, and prepare VAT returns for management review and submission.
Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory statistics returns, ensuring accuracy and timely filing.
Support the annual budget process, including data gathering, departmental liaison, and preparation of supporting schedules.
Conduct financial analysis, including actual vs budget variance reporting, balance sheet reviews, and profit and loss accuracy checks.
Record and report client receipts.
Review and post journals.
Manage expense and invoice approvals via Emburse.
Process and manage vendor uploads.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor daily bank balances.
Support team members where needed, including oversight of day-to-day transactional processing such as payment runs, card and expense processing, invoice entry, and intercompany billing.
