We are looking for a Technician to provide support to our customers on a wide range of mobility equipment including mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs, riser armchairs, beds and wheelchairs. Most of the work takes place at our workshop in Burgess Hill but will also involve some travel to customers' homes throughout East and West Sussex and parts of Surrey and Kent.
Responsibilities
- Support customers on a wide range of mobility equipment including mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs, riser armchairs, beds and wheelchairs, primarily from our workshop in Burgess Hill with travel to customers' homes as required.
- Communicate technical findings effectively; aim to first time fix and identify faulty components.
- Assist with installation teams for stairlifts and ramping.
- Be a friendly, approachable person with a can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Full, clean valid UK driving license
- Clean DBS record
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, staff discount and attendance bonus. Full product training will be provided through manufacturer approved courses. You will be provided with a competitive salary, paid overtime, uniform and tools. The hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm (40 hrs per week) with an unpaid 30 mins break for lunch.
