We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and help drive growth across Clearway's enforcement, security, and property services. With an annual revenue target of £1m, this role combines account management, client retention, and new business development, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service while expanding our client base. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll play a key part in achieving group-wide sales objectives, building strong client relationships, and maximising opportunities across our full range of services.
What You'll Do
- Sales & Revenue Generation
- Deliver an annual sales target of £1m through account management and new business.
- Manage a strong and active sales pipeline from enquiry to conversion.
- Develop tailored proposals across enforcement, security, and property services.
- Identify and deliver cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring service satisfaction and retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Provide regular updates, progress reports, and value-added insights to clients.
- Handle client queries and escalations professionally and promptly.
- Business Development
- Support the Head of Sales in identifying and targeting new client opportunities.
- Contribute to securing repeat business from recurring instructions (e.g. CRAR, enforcement, inspections).
- Attend meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote Clearway's services.
- Generate new leads through LinkedIn and other social media channels.
- Reporting & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data in the CRM system (FMS).
- Provide regular sales performance updates and insights to the Head of Sales.
- Collaborate with operations, enforcement, inspections, and finance teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Share feedback to help improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
