Job type– Full-time — Permanent contract of employment We are seeking experienced Vehicle Mechanicsto join our Belfast and Portadown depots. Job Role: The successful candidate will be required to perform vehicle fleet inspections, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs including the replacement of parts. Key Duties & Responsibilities:Completion of jobs from general servicing to fault finding, working on LGV/HGVs, Fork Lift Trucks, Telehandlers, and other heavy plant and equipment, ensuring repairs are carried out according to manufacturers procedures in a safe and responsible manner. The successful candidate should be hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You should be willing to develop your skills on an ongoing basis in line with the growing business. We also require the flexibility to work overtime as and when required. Essential Requirements: Good mechanical knowledge, previous plant maintenance experience Positive can do attitude Good communication skills Full driving licence, Desirable Qualification in a mechanical discipline Forklift Licence, IPAF Licence HGV/LGV License Salary negotiable based on experience. Hours of business: Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm occasional Saturdays 8am 1pm at time and half rate.
