Salary: £35,000.00 + discretionary Christmas bonus Working pattern: 8am 5pm Mon Friday (40 hours)

Duties: The Health & Safety Officer will report to the Group HR and will assist in the management of health and safety across all group sites.
You will undertake risk assessments, safe systems of work, and assist with health and safety site audits across the group company sites.
Provide health and safety assistance on sites in support of Clearway operational teams, ensuring working practices on sites are safe and comply with legislation.
The Health & Safety Officer will support the business in maintaining ISO9001 & ISO14001.
You will assist with accident investigations, near miss reports, and implement corrective actions.
The Health & Safety Officer will assist with emergency procedures, such as; fire drills, fire inspections, spill management and first aid arrangements.
Assist with sourcing, purchasing, storage, and distribution of PPE items across all Clearway group company locations.
Help to design, develop, and maintain in-house training databases to ensure it works for the companies present and future needs.
Keep up to date with new Health and Safety legislation.
Further to the above, the Health & Safety Officer will complete relevant H&S admin tasks for the department as required.
Desired criteria: NEBOSH health and safety qualified Knowledge in ISO Excellent IT skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Full driving license. 18 / 24 months experience within an H&S or facilities management background would be advantageous.
